WHAT IS MOCK TRIAL?

Mock Trial is a competitive trial simulation between two sides, the Prosecution or Plaintiff and the Defense. Both teams represent all the aspects of a real life trial, including opening statements, cross examinations, and closing arguments. A practicing attorney, lawyer, or judge acts as the presiding judge over the case and scores each team. All the teams participating in collegiate Mock Trial are given a case every year to experiment with and argue for.
